encountering Tanuki or Arai-guma (2006-02-09)
I saw two raccoons in this morning.
They were so cute!
They were walking. teke, teke, teke, teke...
I think they were common raccoons or Japanese raccoon dogs.

The little magical beasts are called "tanuki".

Oh, I don't have watched 'Heisei Tanuki Gassen Ponpoko'.
Real tanukies are not magical beasts ;-)
