Debian JP Project の CDN ミラー

cdn.debian.or.jp は複数の (比較的高速な接続を持つ) Debian ミラーサーバを用いた DNS ラウンドロビン（＋サーバによる重み付け）を行っており、特定ミラーサーバの障害影響を回避することが可能です（また、単なる DNS ラウンドロビンとは異なり、対象となっているサーバが障害で停止している場合は死活監視による自動切り離しを実施し、利用者からは特に何も意識することなく利用できるようにしてあります）。

Debian JP Project - ミラーサイト - CDN ミラーを使うには

というわけで、/etc/apt/sources.list に設定してみる。


# cat /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://cdn.debian.or.jp/debian/ sarge main contrib non-free
deb-src http://cdn.debian.or.jp/debian/ sarge main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/ sarge/updates main contrib non-free

あとは更新。


# apt-get update
# apt-get upgrade
